Gunners supporters are demanding for Mikel Arteta to be replaced by Champions league winning coach after Arsenal goalless draw against Manchester City

Xavi’s statement that he will be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season has left the team looking for a new manager.

Although Xavi is adamant about leaving, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has stated that she hopes the 44-year-old stays past this season. Xavi refuses to change his mind about stepping down in spite of Laporta’s entreaties, citing pressure from within.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Laporta revealed that he had spoken with Xavi and that he should think twice.

He tells Xavi that there is obvious pressure on his face and tells him not to push things. Laporta is still holding out hope that Xavi may reconsider, even though he is adamant about departing on schedule.

Xavi’s replacement at Barcelona may already have a short list that includes Luis Enrique, Hansi Flick, and Rafa Marquez, according to reports.

The lack of experience and his current contract with Arsenal until 2025 have prevented the club from chasing Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
